While clearing out my atelier last week, I rediscovered this elegant old French table stuck in corner. It’s a very sturdy, well made piece of furniture, but had seen better days and was in need of a little TLC. After a good clean and a thorough sand-down, it has been painted in a couple of coats of Annie Sloan Paris Grey chalk paint. I decided to use the natural imperfections to achieve a slightly distressed look.
